Excellent for shoplifters, but best for hand held items. Take your goods to the self payment lane. Stand in line and wait for a till to become available.
This shop is so busy that either on your walk to the till or as you fumble around getting your goods basket onto the table that the security person will be called away as someone elses machine will have not liked something, or age restrictive item to be confirmed by staff, distracting staff, and time for you to calmly walk out.
Seen it before where the next two people behind me just walked straight through without paying. I Have lived in North West London to recent, but never seen so much blatant theft as in this shop, mostly in easy reach of security too - eye opening
I told security but they were ok about it, and got "we did not see anything". Another customer also told security and they started picking on him a bit

In this part of London, wearing a 'face mask' due to Covid appears to be non-existent - all the locals totally ignore the law and the shop staff do exactly the same. We were in this shop on Tuesday the 6th of July and, for the first time during the pandemic, I felt totally unsafe. The store is crowded with gangs of 'yoof' (no masks), gaggles of women all reaching around you / over you to grab their food (no masks) and store staff who just stare at you blankly when you ask a question or request assistance. And - you guessed it - no masks. I wonder why London has had such a spike of Covid? Avoid.

It would really help this store if they had helpful staff and didn't stock poor quality fresh food. I would recommend avoiding this shop and try somewhere else
