As a NHS staff member I attended the store on Sunday 22nd where it opened for the first hour for NHS staff.
This was a great initiative which I greatly appreciate.
However I feel there could be some improvements made.
Although the store opened its doors at 10 am however the tills did not open until 10.45
which meant I had finished my shopping at 10.15 but then had to wait around in a busy que for 30 mins - in an attempt to pay for my shopping.
People were not adhering to social distancing and people were huddling together at the checkout que, which defeats the whole object if we were to become infected with COVID 19.
Could this please be improved by perhaps opening tills as soon as the stores open and asking people in the ques to give each other the 2 M distance.
I would very much like to return for this shopping slot next Sunday, but unless this improves I feel I will be exposing myself to unnecessary risk by attending again.
