This is the best tailors in west London. Without a doubt. And the dry cleaning service is second to none. And I've tried them all in Richmond.
I'm just glad they are local to me, and very reasonably priced

New stitches are open on Sunday's which makes my life easier. I am very pleased with the service I have received from new stitches. The workers at the front are very polite and always has a smile. I'm addition the prices are affordable compared to all other tailoring shops in Richmond. I decently recommend this business to everyone. The best tailors in London.

I was aware of the review the lady before left about her coat and thought that it was likely a one off. I am very sad to report that unbelievably I have had a similar experience with a ruined dress from Selfridges. I had a long gown I went to get hemmed in time for a wedding and discovered that they had totally botched the job and it was really short in the front right side and long in the left and completely uneven. When I went to discuss this with them, they said it was the pattern of the dress and that they had cut it how it had been pinned. I was astonished to find that they wouldn't even compensate me for the tailoring fee. Not only was I without the dress for the wedding, I'm out over 250 quid. Having a family in a similar business I know that this is not the standard one should expect from a tailor nor is it a good business shifts the blame for poor workmanship to the customer or the product. You've been warned.

New coat completely ruined by New Stitches of Richmond: Three botched attempts by New Stitches at alterations to a brand new coat from House of Fraser has left the sleeves uneven, a ball point pen mark on the sleeve front (and their dry cleaner damaged the fabric trying to remove) and two front buttons chipped. What should have been a straightforward exercise turned into a nightmare - for which they charged £30 and have ruined the coat. We are in the process of suing them. We will NEVER use them again!
