This is the only kebab house that many local residents will venture into, as this is as good as it gets in the world of the kebab. You pay by weight, another distinction which sets Kebab Kid apart, drawing in customers from some distance away.

After 'raving reviews' about this place. I decided to pay a visit. Would like to say that I found the food substandard and expensive. I ordered mixed shwarma, the meat was dry and the majority of the pitta was salad- hardly any meat. Will certainly not recommend this place !! this 'organic' jazz is all a gimmick..

I lived in Patsons Green in 1979-1980. I have visited every now and again in the intervening years. I have taken girlfriends the odd mistress and ex wives. I have recommended to everyone who says any other kebab shop but this one is the best. I have taken family friends and women I have wanted to romance and impress (it works every time).
This is the best the kebab shop ever...." No one has ever come close. I don't believe any other kebab will ever come close....... I will return with my latest flame to saviour the best in town and walk along side the Thames at Putney and relive past glorie

Overall disappointing take away food. Overcooked lamb, hard to digest and too expensive for what you (don't) get for your money. Won't be going back.

I visited this kebab shop based on a recommendation from a friend which was backed up by some online reviews - overall I must say that I am very disappointed. I was expecting great things but kebab kid failed to deliver in every way possible. My best experience of a kebab (a schawarma kebab in this instance) is one where the lamb is tender (if a bit greasy) the sauces (tahini and chilli) are amazing and the pickle just finishes the kebab off perfectly. Yes, the service isn't great (the staff are very intimidating) and the place feels very snobbish, but their takeaway menu is great value and tastes great. So, in comparison, kebab kid meat was dry and tasteless, prices are very steep and a large kebab left me feeling hungry! The sauces were disappointing and did nothing to add flavour (barbeque and chilli) and the salad was nice and fresh but I've had better from turkish kebab places. I personally wont be coming back I'm afraid, but I do understand that kebab kid will appeal to others out who like a healthy alternative to a kebab with no funny business or overpowering tastes.

I've been going to the kebab kid for 15yrs now. I tell everyone it's the best kebab on the world! No fatty meat, fresh salad, and u must try the chilli sauce. May add, it will burn your mouth for 5 mins but it's completes the kebab! Anyone in the area should try one at least. To this day I will still drive 20 mins away to get one, tho I wish I lived next door!

Surely this is the best lamb sharwama. I heared of this palce back in the early 80's when they were looking to set up a chain of Kebab kids but never tried thier food until recently. What a shame! Been missing out on good food for all those years!

Fresh crisp salad. No fat on the meat, tender and easy to digest. Only place to weigh their meat.

Don't forget the chips, Always freshly fried in good quality oil. Probably the best Kebab I've eaten! Mmmm I need one now!

Kid kebab is a ace place for food. When I got it I thought it had a brilliant taste to it, the bbq sauce on it was great.
