Patty Heaven

I am currently homeless at the moment and I was walking on Roman Road when the delicious looking patty's in the window of Patty Heaven caught my eye. I decided that I would take a chance and walked in explaining I was homeless and hungry!! The warmth and kindness I was shown really gave me my faith in humanity back as I come across people on a daily basis that can be cold and heartless. I watched as chicken and rice was heated up for me and then a side order of plaintain and cabbage was added to the container. I was then told to pick a drink out of the fridge which is very rare if you're already getting a free meal. There was another attempt to heat up the cabbage but I couldn't wait another minute to taste the food. Mouth watering, and absolutely delicious but it was the added ingredient of kindness that made it taste so good. Amber xx
