Silver Lake Chinese Takeaway

Have had quite a few hit and misses when ordering from them. Sometimes great sometimes rough, obviously depends on who the chef is on the night. And wish they would have more people answering the phone that spoke better english! Also when unsatisfied with order they promise a credit next time, but when you next order there is no record of the credit, strange that eh!! And their portions used to be really good, but maybe due to the credit crunch even sesame prawn toast has been cut down and last time the backs were quite burnt.

We often order deliveries from silver lake and something is always missing but gave them the benefit of the doubt tonight and just had a delivery, it took over an hour to get to us, the delivery man rung and said he couldnt find our address so we knew that the meal had been out of the shop for at least 30 mins and it arrived with a portion of completely RAW chips. They dont offer to redeliver anything missing (or raw!)just offer to give that specific complaint free next time, no thanks! Will definitely be ordering from other chinese shops in the area now!
