The Good Earth Express

A really great range of tasty food - the prawn toasts, crispy duck and fillet steak stir fries are all outstanding, as is much of the rest of the menu. They're not so great on delivering though, so I tend to place an order and go and collect - otherwise you can wait for over an hour, or go and collect in 15 minutes after ordering. They're a nice bunch in there as well - service with a smile!

This takeaway refuses to deliver to my friends house because it is situated in a council estate even though it is as close as where I live and have previously got takeaway delivered to! This establishment is discriminating against council estates. i will not be ordering from this establishment ever again.

This was our first time ordering at The Good Earth Chinese Take-Away and we had high hopes esp as the menu quoted "Some of the best Chinese food in London" my boyfriend has basic needs when it comes to Chinese food and always orders the same; vegetable spring rolls, lemon chicken and egg fried rice. I opted for the chicken and spring onion dumplings and the Spicy Lamb with lemon grass and ginger. We called and placed our order and were told that there would be a 1h30min wait, this was fine with us - an hour and 30 minutes later arrived our food barely luke warm. The food can only be described as achingly bland and it worries me that they couldn't even get the most basic classic right, as my boyfriend put it "without doubt the worst Chinese take away he has ever had" and needless to say we wont be ordering again.
