I recently moved round the corner from Zest, and last week went in, the staff were very curteous even though I couldn't decide what i wanted. The food was freshly prpared tasted great and not greasy. As a northerner I find most London (sorry) takewaways lacklustre almost like the owners think there are so many people they needn't bother. The premises were very clean and made me confident to eat there. A pleasant experience you won't find many better Indian around.

Thought I'd better write a balancing article as there is only one review here.
They have constantly changing menu, with delicious food, not too greasy.
I've lived near Zest for 4.5 years and I never order from anywhere else, whenever I try a different indian takeaway its always disappointing by comparison.

Zest Of India
218 Coldharbour Lane London SW9 8SA
We ordered our food, were told it would arrive just after 9 - after numerous phonecalls and complaining to just eat it finally arrived after 10:30pm - we ended up having to eat most of it for breakfast.
In apology the manager said that due to the mix up he'll give us a meal for free next time because as we paid by card it was too complicated to refund it.
After calling to get our free meal, the manager refused to do it and said he'll give us 4.50 off, then after I complained - ok £6 - which obviously isn't what he had promised to do.
He then said to contact just-eat if I have a problem, but there's nothing they will do about it. So in essence, like it or lump it.
DONT order from this restaurant.
