Rose Garden

As a student on a budget it can be difficult to find an authentic, clean and beyond delicious Chinese food.
This is my first time ever writing a review on anything really lol but I have lived in the area all my life (20years) we travelled all the way to Haggerston for some decent Chinese food until a family friend introduced us to Rose Garden. It's family owned, I often gaze in awe at the lovely couple cooking my Singapore fried rice as they toss their woks in sync (yes they prepare your food in the open kitchen, in your presence while you wait) Benihana? what's that?

I have lived in the area for over 8 years, and I completely agree with the other review....friendly, clean and very good food at very reasonable prices.... I have eaten chinese food all over the UK and other parts of the world and I can honestly say they are in my top 3 of all time. The prawns in batter with sweet and sour sauce are out of this world. The crispy shredded beef is exactly that and their pat pad (they do a few vietnamese dishes) is fantastic. This little take away is a secret gem, they don't deliver, but for own weight, that is probably a good thing!

All their food is well seasoned and full of flavour! Plus you can see the kitchen from the area where you wait so you can see what theyre doing. everything looks clean, the couple and their children are always polite. I havent got enough good things to say about this place! Think I'm gonna go there now! mmmmm lol p.s, i dont have shares in their business lol
