Great Wall

I have eaten many Chinese meals over rge years and this is definitely up there with the good ones. I usually order Singapore noodles and deep fried shredded beef and the taste is just amazing, the positions are good too. This chinese is competitively priced. If you live in the area and you haven't tried it, it is worth a try you'll be happy, and revisit to try more dishes.

Have been ordering for years and the food is a good standard in terms of 'Chinese take-aways' in the UK. Friendly and their spare-ribs are very nice indeed! Prawn balls are great with the sweet sauce they provide, and their Singapore noodles are nice. They do have a telephone service so you can order and have the meal ready as soon as you reach them. They have made a few mistakes in giving me the wrong order, however they refund the entire price and let you have it all for free! The give out free bags of prawn crackers on orders above, I believe, £15.

However, as for all Chinese take-aways they do all more or less taste the same. Great Wall provides good typical Chinese take-away food, however I would make sure you check that your order is the right one before you leave (particularly if you had placed a telephone order!). Also, ordering a mixture of Singapore noodles, plain chowmein, special House ribs, and a duck dish with vegetables is a good option for a mix of great flavours! However, as I have found with some mates of mine, spreading curry sauce on everything is like spreading tomatoe ketchup on your McDonalds meal! It tastes nice as a garnish, but makes everything tast like tomatoe ketchup! So buying curry sauce will just make all that great tasting food taste like curry sauce!

Overall however, if you want really great tasting, and fantastic choice, go to China Town in Leicester Square! Now THATS real Chinese cuisine!
