I have been a client of Cissors Palace for 5 years now and used the salon for Guinot facials/ massages/ beauty and hair treatments. All my expereices have been spot-on. The girls there are fantastic. The prices are very reasonable, esp as this is a City salon. I would highly reccommend this salon:)

Cissors Palace is a little haven in the centre of a crazy town! I've been going there for about 7 years now for haircuts, beauty treatments, tans etc and have never been tempted to look elsewhere. The staff are lovely, the atmosphere is very friendly & relaxing, don't ever change! :-)

Another disappointed Groupon customer it seems. My 45 minute 'stress-buster' massage began in a cold room, with cold oil & cold hands from a frosty member of staff. I had to ask her many times to apply less pressure as I was tense with pain. Not a relaxing experience at all. Her response: Don't be silly, this doesn't hurt. The result: painful & bruised neck & shoulders, and a trip to the chemist for analgesia!
My 45 minute facial involved a cleanse, another painful massage & a 20 minute mask & moisturiser. No steam as advertised. I felt like me being there was an inconvenience to the staff member. Her constant yawning was louder than the background music. The facial was interrupted by someone banging the main door outside, trying to get in.
My advice: avoid this place & research the companies prior to purchasing Groupon deals. Not impressed AT ALL.

i am terribally sorry that you had such a bad experience. it really is a shocking news to me as i have never had these kind of reviews about our treatments.

i would have been so greatful if you spoke to me about your disappointment. we take pride in making our customers feel relaxed and comfortable. this truly is a shock.
i kindly request you to address the issue to a manager in future, rather than publically displaying your disappointment. small businesses like ours runs on the way our customers feel. im truly upset that you fealt disappointed. however, its very harsh for you to warn all to avoid us, without addressing it to me. if i knew i would have done my best to correct the problem. all i can say at this stage is, i am very sorry.

What a terrible disappointment. I had purchased a Groupon voucher for a 45 min facial and 45 min massage. On starting the treatment the therapist made me feel very uncomfortable by graphically explaining to me how much money the salon was losing by honoring the Groupon deal and they would not be using Groupon again. This was very unprofessional and did not help to relax me for my massage. The entire treatment was not very comfortable from the pressure of the massage to the miserable therapist. I will not be returning the Cissors Palace nor will I recommend it.

I visited Cissors Palace due to a Groupon Voucher that I had purchased, upon arrival there was a slight problem but wasn't anyones fault which was overcome asap. The salon decor is somewhat dated but nevertheless the rooms where you have your massage is nicely decorated, warm and has a good relaxed ambience, when I was there the music wasn't working but I was made aware of this however this didn't bother me at all. The beauticians at this salon are very charming, obliging and warm, you can really see they are trying their best regardless of certain obstacles. The 2 treatments were somewhat 'mini' but this was to be expected as it was a low priced voucher so you can't expert the works so cheaply. The massage was good the beautician used a good level of pressure and made me very relax I didn't feel like I had a proper facial, but I had a few procedures which seemed to be fine. The location is very handy right next to the tube station and right in the middle of the city. I would go back to give this place another try and a lot of this is because of the customer service, the girls gave me vouchers and a price list when I was leaving and listed offers that would be of interest to me, the prices are good considering it's location. My only slight criticism was that my treatment was cut short due to an oversight by the salon and not me and I wasn't give the full length of time for my treatments, I felt as this wasn't my fault and I was on time regardless of other bookings I should have been given the full time slot. I will go back and try it again and have already enquired about appointments.

I’m very disappointed with the treatments I received in this apparently “great place for beauty treatments”. I purchased the groupon voucher to use this salon for facial, manicure and pedicure treatments. When I arrived to the Cissors Palace I was greeted by the nice girl who asked me to choose varnish I want to be used for manicure and pedicure. I was disgusted by the state of varnishes, all dried out. Then the same girl took me to a dark room, where my treatments took place. Manicure and pedicure where only about painting my nails, without polishing them or removing cuticles, and effect was so horrible as not only my nails but the skin was also painted. Facial treatment which is according to the girl is worth £ 75 consists of the steam and mask. The whole experience I should class as a big joke. I would never recommend this place to anyone, even if they were doing that for free. After this visit I had to remove all varnish, as it looked like I was driving and trying to paint my nails.

I really fining your complain quite unusual. I truly apologies for your disappointment. You purchased a groupon voucher for the value of £75 and you paid £24.99. The voucher clearly stated that you will recieve Guinot facial ( which consist of cleanse, exfoliation, steam, massage and masque) with a choice of massage or manicure and pedicure. The whole treatment is 1 Hr 15 mins. We always make sure that the clients know that they are booking in for express/ mini manicure and pedicure. ( the vouchers clearly states the treatments they will be having).the reason the room will be dark is because we turn the lights really low for facial treatments, this is done to create ambience.
It is such a shame that you made the effort to sign up on this site, just to write this review yet did not mention to ask to speak to me or the manager.
At cissors palace we take pride in caring for our clients and providing the best possible service. At this stage all I do is appologise. However, I do make in request, please do not hold back from speaking out if you are unhappy. All small or large businesses will appreciate customer feed back as this helps us to provide better service.

Cissors Palace is a great place to go to for beauty treatments. All the girls there are super helpful and generally lovely. I enjoy going there and getting pampered whenever I have the chance.
The prices are amazing, especially for London, and I can't recommend them enough.
