Reception people seem to lack basic customer service skills.

I'm afraid I can't give high marks here, or good marks either. I've had a couple of not-so-great experiences at this salon. The first time I went I got a slightly dodgy cut. The result wasn't what I asked for and it didn't look that great overall. The customer service seemed inattentive and slightly rushed but I was willing to attribute that to the number of customers they had in - it was packed that day.

Put off for a couple of years by this experience, I decided to give them another shot recently. I only did this for convenience reasons because I live very close. Sadly I'm regretting this decision. Again seeing a senior stylist did not give me anything that could even remotely be described as a fashionable haircut. Not only that, but again I asked for a few very specific things with regards to length and shape which were ignored and before I knew it (I wear heavy prescription glasses which are off during haircutting) my hair was too short for my liking. Now it will take 2 months or more of growing just to get it to how I wanted it at the front, whereas at the back and the sides it will be well messy by that time. I have been wearing a hat all day long for weeks now and will continue for a good while due to this dodgy cut and my hair going over my eyes. I went to Ibiza for a week and was still wearing a hat at the beach and in the clubs - it's that bad. I wish I had my contacts in that day to stop the massacre while it was going on, but sadly I didn't realise how bad it was until after it was finished!

To add insult to injury at times I felt catastrophic customer service skills on part of the senior stylist the second time I went. He was very hasty with scissors, quite rough when pulling hair and had a general annoyed 'I-dont-want-to-be-here' attitude. His conversation mood was at the level of bare-minimum-courtesy talk.

I feel compelled to recommend against going to Cuts Too. There are lots of hair places in Islington where you'll get better tr

Never rely on the appointment you got from them. They cancel it really rudely even though you tell them that you are going for a holiday. They don't even try to help you and just leave you waiting there. And they are awfully rude, doesn't even say sorry. I've been going there for a while but will never go again.

the beauty therapists are not at all like the other reviews here have described the hair stylists. I have had two different lovely girls who couldnt have been more friendly and helpful. I have only had waxing and nails done but they are fast and take care over what they do.

I have been to Cuts Too 4 times in the past 8 months, each time I ask for the same stylist and not once has she remembered me, a couple of weeks ago I needed a last minute appointment in preperation for a wedding so called and was offered a booking with another stylist, which I happily agreed to, made no difference as she never remembered me anyway!! At 15:00 that day (my appointment was at 18:00) the receptionist called to say could I come 15 minutes earlier I said I'd do my best but I was at work. I practically ran there and arrived 8 mintues before my orginal appointment to enter to a hushed room where I was ignored and then after having to introduce myself had the stylist look at me roll his eyes and say 'over here'!! His body language was very angry and I immediately felt uncomfortable, he sat me down without introducing himself or asking if Id like a drink and then said 'hang on I just need to check I actually have time to cut your hair', went over to reception proceeded to have a row with the recptionist and then came back in even more of a foul mood, to tell me he had another appointment at 6. They had obviously double booked and I couldnt help but wonder how he proposed to fit a cut and bly dry into 15 minutes let alone 8 minutes! I stressed that I wasnt feeling at ease and his response was 'do you want me to get someone else to DEAL with you' . I was welling up so got up and left crying. I wont be going back. the service was incredibly poor

I have been comng here for years. Today I phone them and ask for an apointment with my usual stylist. When asked what I want I said I wanted to discuss what I need with the stylist, the receptionist said she couldn't book an appointment on the basis that she didn't know how much time was required. Not, actually, unreasonable, however when I queried this (to see if we could work something out) she just handed the phone to someone else and said "Can you deal with this, - she is being a ****". The receptionist did not even have the wit to bother covering the handset.

I won't be coming here again.

Frankly, if you want a friendly, communicative, helpful stylist who knows her job DO NOT BOOK HERE.

I have been coming here on and off for years and have never had a problem, but this time I can honestly say that I have never had such a bad experience at a hairdressers in my life - from the moment I walked in to the moment I was humiliated into actually walking out about 15 minutes later.

Even a simple consultation seems beyond the so-called stylist I had here - she was sullen and rude straight off, did not seem to understand or in fact care about anything I asked her about with regards to my hair colour and, rather than give me any professional advice, she simply asked me what I'd suggest myself and then just kept sighing and rolling her eyes when I suggested anything!

When I pointed out that the reason I'd come to a hairdressers in the first place was for a professional assessment/consultation about my colour she told me she couldn't do anything much other than 'slap a toner on it' and when I pointed out that I could do that myself at home she just said 'fine go and do that then, goodbye'. She announced this at full volume in front of other customers and colleagues and I was so embarrassed that I had to leave since she's stalked off and just left sitting me in front of the mirror.

The atmosphere in here is horrible - very ****y and it feels as though they just can't be bothered. The only polite person was the receptionist. For the totally over-inflated prices they're charging here, not to mention the fact that you can only pay in cash, I expect a lot more than that. Mty advice is to go somewhere else - there are plenty of better, friendlier, more professional salons in Islington.
