Management and bookings have always been a been a bit hit and miss, but Charlotte is my stylist and she is fantastic! She is the reason I keep going back.

I visited for a cut with Charlotte - brilliant. I then went back for a colour strip and recolour and even though it took longer than expected Charlotte was really attentive. I walked out with a great colour finish and fab advice on aftercare and shampoos. Am going back today for a top up and trim.

I have been going to this place for almost a year now and am happy. I had two complete colour changes and Charlotte is an absolute genius and the other staff are nice as well. Gemma however is really rude and pulls hair as if she's keen on your scalp so watch out! Overall good salon though.

I would (a) recommend to a friend and (b) go back for my next haircut. I completely disagree with the previous reviewer as I was greeted in a friendly way, and I was really pleased with the overall service. My hair was cut by Aaron, who was very patient and asked me lots of questions to establish exactly what I wanted. I was very pleased with the cut, and he also gave me tips on how to wear it up and I walked out with a very cool looking fishtail plait.

Really Bad experience. First impression, The attitude of the staff, they are rude and not welcoming. It was my first visit and I had my highlight there yesterday and still got the headache as the girl called Gemma washed my hair with her gloves on her hands and constantly pulled my hair, despite asking her it is painful she continued pulling and the worst part was the head message, it was like crushing my scalp. Also they asked me to pay extra 10 pound for rough dry with no brush just using hair dryer for couple of minutes and my hair was still wet when i left the salon. My highlight is just fine but noting special for the amount of money i paid.

Terrible from start to finish. The welcome on arrival by the girl on the front desk was rude to say the least.I was rushed to a seat and then left sitting there with no offer of magazines/drink for 25 minutes.I understand that salons can run behind but i would expect a stylist to make themselves known to a client and at least give an indication of how long they will be.When my sylist eventually made himself known he made no attempt to apologise for the 40 minute delay.I'm a brunette with long hair- i wanted to go slightly lighter but was told that my hair would have to be stripped and re-coloured which would take 4 hours and he really tried to persuade me to make an appt for another day.I thought this was too radical (and bad for my hair) and really just wanted to get a few highlights in there but he insisted it would need the 4 hr treatment. He tried a few times to get me to change the appt and i really felt like he just wanted me to leave and was not helpful when it came to looking at the colour chart.
When a colour was eventually put in i was told it needed 20 minutes- it was left in for 35 mins.Instead of it having slightly a hint of red to brighten up the hair it was really dark plum.
When i was finished at the basin my stylist told his colleague that he'd be 5 mins drying my hair. I presumed he was joking as my hair is long and thick and takes 15-20 mins to style on a good day. He never asked how i wanted my hair styled- straight, wavy, curls... After 5 mins of pointing the hairdryer at my head and barely touching it with a brush he asked where my side parting was. My hair at this point was out of control fuzzy and he was going to leave me walk out of the salon like that. When i said i wanted my hair blowdried straight he told me i was booked in for an express hairdry- i've never heard of such a thing in my life. It was disgraceful how bad this guy was- in the end he just got the GHD out and straightened it while pouting. And that ordeal cost me £100.

One of the worst hairdressing experiences of my life! The staff were oblivious to me and i felt it was an inconvenience even being there. I wanted a bit of a restyle but the stylist just wanted to do the bear minimum. Before i even said what i wanted she said 'shall we just trim a bit off the end and leave the rest the way it is'. I said no i wanted the layers i already had cut back in a bit and she seemed reluctant (i have long hair and had layers all my life and no other hairdresser has had any problems with this). I said i wanted a side parting put in tho and my fringe to be swept over and she sighed and said she thought i should 'just keep it the way it is'. I had to ask 3 times through the haircut for the side parting.
On the website they advertise something called 'vintage' cut which can be adapted for anyone and keeps weight on the length but puts height at the crown, so i said i'd like that. The stylist said no (but seemed annoyed that i had suggested it), she said that was only for certain hair, but didn't explain what type (mine is long straight and fine so i thought it would be okay but apparantly not).
So my hair was cut with a few layers in the back and none at the side, then she did something really 90's and razored the hair to feather in on the sides of my face. Some of the feathers are really short at cheekbone height - I have quite a round face so this looks horrible. She also used a small round brush to dry my fringe - which was cut wonky and blunt rather than choppy like i asked - and it stuck out ridiculously.
The whole thing felt rushed. The stylist didn't pay any attention to what i said, repeating questions then looking over at her colleagues while i answered. It felt like she wanted me out asap. When i was trying to explain what i wanted she just spoke over me and nodded while saying/doing the opposite.
I have ended up with bizarre trim and all this for the bargain price of £60!

Excellent value for money salon in a convenient location. Attended on a busy Saturday afternoon, but found reception staff, junior stylists as well as senior stylists all very friendly, happy and provided superb service (ie: offered water/coffee/tea several times, asked a few times if water temperature was okay, offered good advice on hair care and colour care, etc).
Louise, the colour consultant, really knows what she is doing! She seems genuinely concerned about her clients' hair health and condition as well as appearance. Her suggestions were fantastic and got me the exact look that I wanted! The cut from the creative stylist was also exactly what I was after. Tigi and Kerastase products were used and they sell both brands.
Overall a fantastic salon and prices seem very fair for the level of service offered (I believe there are 5 levels of stylists to choose from and 2 levels of colour consultants). I would definitely recommend and will be going back!
