I asked for my highlights to be not white and not stripy, they did them white and stripy. They then tried to charge me £30 to correct it. 5 weeks later and I have awful roots. A very poor experience and not recommended

After a few unpleasant experiences in some Toni & Guy salons, I decided to give Twickenham one a go.

The level of service given, attention to detail and professionalism were exceptional in this salon. Terry is by far the best hairdresser I have ever had (and I have seen plenty for dying my hair brunette to blond, and the other way around). She really knows how to achieve perfection every time. I'm surprised she's not a celebrity stylist!

If you have been disappointed by many hairdressers, and want to get the perfection, Terry is the one for you!

I am so thrilled- my favourite stylist has moved (some months ago it turns out) from the T&G salon I used to travel to in town to my local branch in Twickers. Just had the most amazing haircut there this evening and I can't believe that finally since moving to TW2 4 yrs ago I finally have an amazing hair salon right on my doorstep again. I went to this branch a couple of times about two years ago but always ended up taking the train into town to get an appointment with 'Un'; now having by chance spotted the amazing 'Un' working in Twickenham T&G it'll be my regular salon. Un (I truly hope I've spelt her name correctly!)is now managing the branch and she's definitely made her mark on it; had an amazing shampoo and head massage, a really useful consultation beforehand, coffee, biscuits and glasses of water galore... and of course the haircut; total restyling with the greatest of care, no rush, friendly genuine conversation and most importantly Un's usual high quality cut. Fantastic! having almost lost the will to live when it came to hairdressers this side of Clapham junction I'm now within 10 mins of a stylist and a salon that sre completely trustworthy and expert in creating gorgeous, personalised, beautifully-executed hair style that suits me. I bounced out of there feeling fabulous! Hooray! Colouring in two weeks time- can't wait!

After having had bad haircut my friend recommended me to Twickenham Toni&Guy to see Sarah. I was truely amazed as i didn't think it was possible for my hair to look so nice as previous stylists told me my hair was too fine to do much with. I was very nervous as it was a new salon but i felt relaxed with Sarah almost instantly. She showed me her own personal hairstyle book and told me i had lots of options with my hair. I ended up having a complete change! Great conversation too.

Toni&guy in Twickenham is my permanent hair styling branch. excellent customer service and they really know what styles suits what face shape, even when i wasn't sure my hair stylist gave me suggestions.
i go to Vincent every time, he's an excellent stylist and would recommend this friendly branch to anybody!

Sarah the colourist is fantastic. She does look young and like the previous reviewer, I was initially a bit nervous, but she is exceptionally professional and a fantastic colourist. She is genuinely very nice and friendly, rather than applying all that faux niceness that beauty therapists and hairdressers often put on. She gently steers you to what might suit you. I'm getting a lot of compliments now!

I have been to the salon four times now. I saw Sarah and she gave me a complete change in style. At first i thought she was very young and i was a bit nervous but when we spoke i realised how mistaken i was. She understood my face shape and listened to me. She went through alot of pictures of hair styles and was full of ideas for what would suit me. I must say that the hair cut was brilliant, it was unusual, which is what i wanted but Sarah has a lovely energy about her and i always feel totally relaxed. All the staff are really friendly and i never felt intimidated. The girl who washed my hair was excellent and i had a wonderful head massage.
Sarah knew in depth about the Tony&Guy product range and advised me on my shampoos and products to style my hair. She showed me easy ways to style my hair at home. I have recommended alot of my friends to Sarah. Very very happy!
