Ego

I booked an app with the owner, he was very polite.
I arrived at my app 12 min late. The black short haired girl at the reception greeted me in the coldest manner saying I was 15 min late and she had another app after mine. Her attitude was awful, she was mumbling under her breath and made me feel extremely uncomfortable, I was with a friend of mine and felt so embarrassed.
I told her that if it was such a prob I'd go somewhere else. after giving me more attitude she said I could stay. Luckily QP is full of hairdressers so I left.
Girl loose the attitude and the big ego or loose clients!

I have been getting my daughter's haircut here since she was 8 years old (she is now 12). They always indulge her and are very friendly and nice towards her. The interior of the saloon is very nice so one does feel very pampered having a hair cut there. Highly recommended. Andrew is particularly excellent. Tules

I visited the Ego salon for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved it!

For a start, the wash basins are so comfortable and the scalp massage so delicious, I could have taken a nap. My stylist (Smita) took the time to look at some photos I had brought and really understand what style of cut I was after and even how I wanted it finished. I'm fussy about my hair and can honestly say it was the best hair salon experience I have ever had.

I highly recommend Ego and will most definitely be back!

I am flying half way around the world to return back to this salon! Well, sort of. I know Andrew can fix up the mistakes that have been made to my hair from other salons and I can't wait to get back to London to return to Ego!
Did have a little colouring issue with another stylist here before, but that seems to be universal (getting a green tinge when going dark over my bleached hair). They were happy to try and correct it, however.

I went to Ego for the first time today and had a wonderful experience. The staff were all friendly and the service was excellent. They took their time to listen to what I wanted and we discussed different options. I will definitely be going again as I am thrilled with my both the colour and cut!

I would like to thank all the staff of ego for a wonderful 1st visit. I had a new style for the first time in 10 years and was really nervous, but you were all really patient with me and talked me through my options. I love my new haircut and will definately be back & next time i'll have a cup cake

visited ego for the first time today for cut and colour. what a lovely salon, unpretentious, friendly, well priced and a great standard of service. I am so happy with my hair. I will be back !

I have been using Ego since it opened, and it's a gem of a salon. Rebecca colours my hair,, Andy (the owner) cuts it and both are exceptional. I love that they go the extra mile too, cup cakes on a Saturday, or glass of wine at the end of a hard day at work! Would thoroughly recommend Ego, has a really nice vibe, and lots of smiley faces,which can be unusual for a hairdressers!

I have to say I am shocked after reading the above review. Firstly we must be talking about different Rebecca's..... Rebecca has been doing my hair for over 2 years and it has always been amazing, the results, the service and in general an extremely pleasant experience. The team are great and very friendly, especially Molly. Rebecca is always welcoming and always understanding when I am late which is often! I travel from South East London to get my hair done by Rebecca because she is that good and I trust her 100%. I would definitely recommend this salon and colourist to my friends and family. Thanks guys!

I had a haircut with the stylist a week ago and it was great, however the owner was around then. I recommended family to come and made an appointment. I received a confirmation text the day before. I called them on the day and was told there was no appointment and maybe it wasn't at this branch. I was confused as we had only been in the day before for a test patch at ego, queens park. When I asked to speak to the manager, there was suddenly an appt available. On arrival, we were told by Rebecca that we had booked at the wrong branch and coldly asked to sit. What a change from a week ago when the owner was around! No one said anything to us throughout the 1 and half hours we were there. The staff were unfriendly and moody. The colourist disappeared out after giving us disapproving looks. I asked if we could get a cut and was told there was no time by the stylist, when she had disappeared at the back too. All in all, without the owner around, it was a horrible and unfriendly atmosphere and I would not go back. The only consistent person was the girl who washes the hair. The colourist was very moody and I'm sure would have behaved differently if the owner had been around. Too young and too much attitude.
