A disaster. The Amtico tiles on the new kitchen floor started to lift after about two years but they disclaim all responsibility. Other contractors say it was due to inadequate preparation. The old tiles should have been lifted first and, even though Kensington Flooring appeared to know this and quoted for doing it, they allowed the fitter not to bother. Other companies offer lengthy guarantees for their work - not so, Kensington Flooring. £2000 down the drain plus the disruption of having to start again.

We hired The Kensington Flooring Co to upgrade our old and shabby carpeted stairs and hallway with hardwood. The experts started with removing the carpet. Then they installed beautiful oak steps with oak entry way. They didn't miss to replace the baseboards to match the current baseboards. Excellent job, I admit!!!

Honest, personable, hard-working, on time...did I say honest? It's so hard to find any type of of trades people with these qualities anymore. And they stuck to the initial quote they gave me - stain, three coats of varnish - everything was included in the initial price.

This is a really great company. The team that was working in my house and putting the floor and was very professional and really got the job done. They weren't sitting around and doing nothing. They're extremely hard working and I really liked that about this company. The floors were a little bit expensive but it was worth the money because they look fabulous right now.
