Hiyer everyone,

Im from Singapore, will be leaving my country on 29th April on a package tour that ends in Paris on the 7th May. But am extending the tour on me own 2 more nites in Paris & 2 nites will be in London.
Am going to London via Eurostar on 9th May, staying over for 2nites before coming back to Singapore on 11th May.
I have some questions to ask =)

1. Im having a headache, cant decide which hotel to choose.
Shaftesbury Hyde Park International
52-55 Inverness Terrace, London W2 3LB, England

Radisson Edwardian Grafton Hotel
130 Tottenham Court Road , London W1T 5AY

they both of a four star i think. I would like to know which is more accessible to getting around to Oxford Street & the other places.

2. I will be there 9th May to 11th May. From Sat afternoon to Monday evening.
I would love to go clubbing in London! But im all alone, will it be dangerous or something?
Actually, im thinking if I can get people to hang around together for my stay, it would be great! Anyone? Free to bring me around? haha

3. How much will it cost for the licensed taxis & mini taxis to get from the above hotels to Heathrow Airport?

Thanks in advance, people!

1) Ive been to the Radisson for a training day, its closer and very nice and right next to Warren St tube. Its a very short tube ride or manageable walk to Oxford St from there.

2) Its not ideal but not totally unsafe. Depends on what club you go to.

3) Quite a lot! Maybe £50. But if you stay at the Radisson you can get the underground to Heathrow in an hour or so. If you stay at the International it is not far to Paddington and the Heathrow Express train.

Thanks mistaken!

So u recommend Grafton is a better location?
If i stay at Int'l, will it be too far a walking distance to Oxford?

So do u have any suggestion to 1 safe club for me? =)

The Underground & the Express Train u talking about are of different companies?
On average, how much does a underground or train ticket cost? Is the cost based on the no. of stops or a one-time flat rate for per rides?

Thanks again

The International is not too far to walk, just a little further. However it is a nice area and a nice walk along the top of Hyde Park, so it is your choice!

I dont know a club, there are hundreds to choose from sorry!

The trains are different yes. From Paddington you can get the Heathrow Express train, which goes over ground for £16.50.

The underground is priced in zones rather than stops. So from the Radisson, which is in zone 1, to Heathrow, which is in zone 6, will be £4.00. But it will take much longer! Its the trade off!
