The Peacock Bar & Club is Battersea and Clapham's newest late night bar club with a fabulous 2am licence and a great location only 2 minutes from Clapham Junction. The venue however is best known for its amazing "cabaret and Dj" nights Fridys and Saturdays with singing, burlsque and cabaret perormances early followed by cheesey 80/0s/00s music after till carriges at 2.30am

For hen parties eating and partying with us there is the opportunity to take part in our "Stars In Their Eyes" programme where you are called on stage by our Rat Pack style singer. He will sing you a classic love song on stage with you. Our professional photographers take pictures of your group before and after the show. We publish the photos on our website and on Facebook. Now is that a good hen party idea or what?

The Peacock is as effortlessly stylish as it is comfortable paying homage to retro, baroque, rococo and any other style we like. Think Ercol 1950s table nests perched next to Georgian chaise longues with 50's Scandinavian modular sofas around a 60's G Plan Hi -Fi console. All this set in a Victorian drawing room with a Chesterfield fronted horseshoe bar, stunning all glass spirits display with a huge golden peacock at the front door to greet you and a Victorian pulpit at the back of the bar for our Djs to preach from. We break all rules so maybe it should not work but it just does.

The Peacock also has a luxurious bar with a drinks selection to die for. As well as those so-boring standard beers & spirits we boast London's widest range of Belgian fruit beers on tap and in bottles with over 25 different flavours. Classics such as the draught Strawberry Fruli Fruit Beer are complemented by more exotic flavours from mango through to chocolate via banana and lemon - come and taste for yourself. On the spirits side we have an exclusive range of Monastic Meads brewed by monks in Suffolk - the choice of Kings since William the Conqueror but now available to non Royalty too! We also stock the full range of Geneva flavoured Gins - all thirty of them! On a more modern tip we boast a world class cocktail and wine list designed by master mixologist Emiliiano Casciello of Oxo Tower and Atlantic Bar & Grill fame, including his signature Taj Mahal - a Cosmopolitan with an Eastern Twist. On the food side our menu perfectly complements our drinks whether it's a party platter or Sunday roast you choose.

We have not skimped on the entertainment either, bringing you the finest pole, burlesque and cabaret performances plus some great Djing late into the night.
On Fridays from 9pm-2am we have "Oh What a Lovely Recession" with legendary DJ / Impresario Paul Necklace of Living fame bringing you the best and the worst of 80s, 90s, 00s - dance away the recession blues to the soundtrack of your life.
On Saturdays from 9pm-2am we bring you "It's a Party" with the wonderful Joe Egg and Nervous Stephen behind the controls for more 80s, 90s, 00s treats just like a house warming party from many years ago. With carriages at 2.30am from our dedicated cab rank we are sure you will leave fully satisfied.

But do come early as every Friday and Saturday we have two pole, cabaret or burlesque performers with the show commencing at 9pm on the dot and our prima donnas don't like to be kept waiting! Each performance is filmed live and shown on three big screens scattered around the venue so everyone gets a great view too. Oh and be warned the performers will be selecting volunteers (or is that "victims"Wink from the audience to join in / teach and they won't take no for an answer either, so don't get too close unless ...............

With a fabulous location just minutes from Clapham Junction you just know the Peacock is going to be a hit. So we recommend booking your guestlist, reserved area or cordoned off area as early as possible to avoid disappointment!

scoobie doo,

Please stop posting this same thing mate. It's not useful just cutting and pasting the same old stuff on every thread and creating new topics for it.

Hello AIl

Message received!

Hopefully will get some more hen ideas from other venues or people who have had or are planning hen parties and looking for ideas to make it a more general discussion.

Anyone had any great or unusual hen parties doing something different
