AIL members go to the London premiere of Public Enemies

It was a very hot day! but it was definately worth the wait and heat for Johnny

I know there's a Public Enemies premiere thread but i thought of starting one in the JDFClub.

I think i woke up at around 7 in the morning, got ready and jumped into the car. My mum drove my dad and i to the train station about 20 minutes before. The train came a few minutes eariler which was a relief! There was someone reading a newspaper next to us with a Public Enemies advert. We got to London Waterloo at about 11:30 and we walked over one of the many bridges over the Thames. We got to Leicester Square just before 12 and i found my friends from the AIL Forum YAY! I was worried that i didn't get there on time but it was all good! we were near where the cars stopped on the corner, where a Captain Jack inpersonator was, he must have been frying in the heat, his eye liner was running down his face. Fortunately we had water and ice creams thanks to Lea's brother. We kept looking at our watches and every time it was either half past 12, half past 1, half past 2 etc he!he!he! It was so hot and muggy we were talking about
a paddling pool! it was great talking to people who understand how you feel about someone you really admire. Snert got a 3 tattooed on her left hand. When did you get it tattooed Snert? We had some great laughs too! We had a good spot because there was quite a big group of us. When it got nearer to 5:30pm we heard screaming but it wasn't Johnny yet. A few more cars came but still no Johnny. We thought he was relaxing in a pool somewhere with a cocktails! Marion came and i think her dress didn't fit her properly lol! loved her hair though. I spotted Richard Zanuck too. Mr.Mann as some people were calling him, came over to us. It was about 6:15 i think, when Johnny's car came and he hopped out of the car and waved at us! he walked straight to the press for interviews and photos. I have a video of an interviewer saying,'what are you wearing Johnny?' and Johnny's reply was, 'Its just a suit' he!he! love it! After Johnny signed one line down the street he had to go into the cinema because there were some paparazzi i think grrr! a security guy said, 'don't worry he's coming back out'. Well obviously! It was coming up to 7pm and i needed to catch the train quite soon but i didn't care he!he! my dad tried to phone me 19 times but i didn't pick it up lol! Then Johnny came back out and started to sign our line, some girls were escorted away because they looked really sick because of the heat or they tried to throw themselves at him maybe *rollseyes* As Johnny came closer and closer i was really calm and you might not agree with me but i think it was Johnny that calmed me down, if that makes any sense? i had my Captain Jack Sparrow drawing which is A2 size. I was filming him signing away until he was right in front of me, my first premiere and my first time meeting Johnny. I was still calm too!
he was signing someone else's photo and i had his left had right in front of my face with those skull rings. He looks more gorgeous in person. He got to my drawing and said,'Its beautiful' i said thank you. Then he said, 'thank you so much' and then he STROKED MY ARM!!!!! and i can still smell him! i haven't washed my arm yet he!he! and i don't think i will until i really have to! LOL! his hands are really soft too. I couldn't believe i just met my idol but i still kept filming. He looked really smart in that pinstripe suit. When he got round the corner apparently my dad was outside where the security people were where they make sure nobody gets in, and he got his camera phone out and filmed a bit of Johnny! whilst my dad was filming, a paparazzi was on a step ladder behind him and said, 'put that bl**dy camera down!' but my dad put his phone up higher and said, 'well you should have come eariler and Johnny Depp hates the paparazzi!' then the crowd around him shouted yeah! I'm sure Johnny would have loved that! Johnny finished signing and walked to his car, waved and got in. WOW, what a day! we weren't too squashed thank goodness but at one point i thought i was going to be crushed against the barrier. Lea brought pliers so we all had posters, thank you so much by the way! After Johnny had left i started to jump up and down he!he! i said goodbye to my friends and i made my way back the station. My dad carried my poster all the way back the the station, some people asked about it and said did you get his autograph, they congratulated me when i said yes. I will never forget this day, it was...it was absouletly magnificent! amazing! and to have my idol say
that my drawing is beautiful and say thank so much and stroke my arm, really touched me because i'm aiming to be a really good artist one day, i hope to have exhibitions...i'm starting to cry now he!he! happy tears though! he's such a sweetheart! I love him and respect even more now and i can't wait to meet him again! i'm on cloud9.gif forever! i would like to thank you guys for the premiere information otherwise i wouldn't know for sure that there was a premiere!

Here's my report :)

I got up about 5:50 and left the house at 7, got to the station at half 7 and got the fast train to tower hill. When i got out the station it seemed like everyone had planned to walk VEERRY slow, as if they knew i had to be somewhere! lol anyway, i got to leicester square at 9 and looked for an ail sign but couldn't see anything, i asked one girl what the layout was and decided to go sit with some people right where the cars would be pulling up, i thought this would be a good space as it was for the people at the dark knight premiere. Whilst i was sitting down i kept looking for a person with a trilby hat and long dark hair, but LOADS of people were wearing triblys lol :laugh: i spotted a black one but the woman didnt have long hair lol A brazilian woman then sat next to me and more people came as the day went on. I had some interesting conversations, the brazilian woman told me all about her government and how she had to see a specialist for her foot and the guy on the other side told me all about rock formations, some interesting conversations i don't think i'll forget lol but they were all very nice people! Around 12, nads came up to me and asked if it was me LOL and it was ME (can you believe it!) :smug: so i went and sat with the ail guys to meet the others but didn't stay long as they had started putting barriers up and i was convinced i had a good space :( sorry guys. I saw the guy dressed as jack sparrow and ran after him to get a photo! lol They eventually got the barriers up where i was standing, that took a while, and there was a really hot guy putting the up with his top off LOL (sorry, had to mention that) After they'd put the barriers up, we then stood there for a few hours more. A woman who was waiting outside the cinema doors came over to speak to the brazilian woman, and said people had been waiting there since midnight. The security guard who i met from the dark knight premiere came and said hello, i'm surprised he even remembered me lol it was a year ago! Then the cars starting pulling up and loads came before johnny, a security guard told me when johnny turns up, they'll be 2 cars, one for him and one for the pa. And then i heard screaming and knew who had turned up :biggrin: he got out the car and although i could only see the back off him, who looked great, he walked down that carpet like a real gangster! An interviewer did an interview with him so that everyone could hear but it wasn't loud enough lol And i didn't scream throughout the whole premiere! i was much calmer than before, i left that up to everyone else. Then i turned to my left and saw him :Omg: and i was surprised that there was hardly any squashing. :speechless: He came over and signed my book, then i asked him if he could sign my board and he said 'yeah sure' and then as he went to move on i said 'i love you' (i didn't plan on saying this, it just came out) and he turned back to me and said 'thank you' and just stood there smiling at me :biggrin: and our eyes met OMG! he looked back at me also as he was just about to move on. After he'd signed the left side, he went in the cinema and people started taking their boards off so i took mine off with pliers, i asked another security guard if i could have another board by the press pens and he said i'd have to round and wait. So i made my way out of the crowd to round where the press entered. I asked the welsh security guard if i could have one and said the other guy told me i could have one and then he told me when the stars had left the cinema i could get one, so i waited. Then johnny came back out and where i was standing filled up with people trying to see johnny. Everyone asked who it was, what film it was and where i'd got the board from. That was annoying! the security guard i was talking to started telling everyone that johnny had gone so that they'd all go :laugh: As the people from the press were making their way out, they all had to give back their passes, so when they'd left i asked the security man if i could have one and he said yes. When everyone had left they gave me one of each colour lol one purple and one blue and said to hide them in my bag in case anyone else asked lol. After that i said i loved them and thanked them LOL :emb: and made my way round the back of lecester square to get to the train station and again everyone asked about the board lol i eventually got home and put the photos on facebook :depp:

My travelling worked out at about 12 hours, long day, but worth it as I met Johnny :D

LOL.Here is my report .

Didn't sleep almost all night in anticipation.
Walked my daughter to school arrived at Leicester Square at 9.05 a.m. Walked down along Empire cinema with AIL banner with all people staring at me like at an idiot. I felt akward, kept on nodding and wearing a question mark face.
Finally, Lea's brother spotted me and I met great Lea. Then, Olwyn joined us . Later Nads.
When Johnny arrived it felt like magic, he looked irresistably delicious! started signing autographs to the opposite raw of people. I kept worrying that he wouldn't have enough time for us. So when he walked past us my heart dropped down, but Lea kept my spirits high by saying that Johnny was coming back. And she was right!
My love, came back and he was very gracious and gentle with everyone. I prepared a long speach and a bracelet that my daughter made for him. When Johnny approached I only managed to blurt out ," Johnny, this is for you from my daughter!" He took the bracelet from my hands and smiled saying , " Awww! Thank you! Thank you very much" And then... he looked straight into my eyes. Oh, heaven, he has got the most amazing eyes! I simply lost myself in them. Needless to say, that I didn't utter a word. Not even thank you in return. Jerry thanked me for waiting and Johnny started signing autograghs to other folks.

Suddenly, as if awoken from the sweetest dream, I started screaming thank you to Johnny, but he didn't hear me.

I said goodbye to all wonderful girls and James I met and headed home. I wish I could repeat that day over and over again.
