The Fantastic Mr Fox - World premiere

'The Fantastic Mr Fox' has been chosen as the film which will open The Times BFI London Film Festival 2009.

Stars who have added their voices to this British animated comedy including George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Owen Wilson, Bill Murray and Willem Dafoe will be in attendance at this World premiere which takes place on Wednesday 14th October in Leicester Square.

Other members of the cast who may attend include Jason Schwartzman, Adrien Brody, Jarvis Cocker, Wes Anderson and Anjelica Huston.

Hey... Just wondering, as i am a huge meryl streep fan, how i would go about getting into this thing? do i need a ticket or anything? i've never been to a prem before, and am traveling all the way from Scotland to go to London, so dont really know how to go about it lol!


any help would be much appreciated!

Maybe phone the BFI and find out, as it's part of their festival, maybe they are selling tickets to this one? Unlikely but maybe.

You won't meet Meryl though, just so you know.

BFI members get priority on tickets to see the films in the festival.

You wont get to meet the cast by attending, and Meryl is notoriously fan-unfriendly too.
