I'll be working in a hospital in the social services department.
I'll be making sure the elderly have what they need when they go home from hospital, stair lifts, hand rails etc. Also have to check their homes to make sure they are clean enough & telling the cleaning crew what to clean etc. I'm sure there will be plenty of other things to do but thats what i know so far. It means being out of the hospital a lot...... great exercise for my lardy ar$e.

Its not great pay but once in, there are opportunities to apply for other jobs & to do training. They do training stuff to get people to be social workers which i would be interested in doing in a few years.

However on a sad note......... your No1 friday four fan won't be able to take part & i'm gonna miss all you guys. It also means less time to bake cakes :cry:

Have made fudge, an orange loaf with dark chocolate topping, raspberry cheese cake with raspberry sauce, biscuits & meringues this week.
Now i'm wondering what to make later ........... donuts or chocolate muffins with a caramel centre & a iced topping? :confused2:

Congrats on the job Daisy.

I am somewhat impressed to get advanced notice of non-Friday 4. I was always under the impression that the questions takes QMB about 5 minutes to knock up while in the lift up to AIL towers. thus explaining the multiple clarifications necessary and the multiple answers possible!

What shall I do for the next hour then?!:whistle:
