Hi M!!!!!!!!

long time no talk

awesome topic, got me thinking about cake atm though, i been dying for some chocolate cake.

and i have to say - measuring by that tiny leaf cutter u said was 9 pound - wat a RIP OFF!!!!

where u need to go to, is a chicken sh*t shop, usually a cheap wholesaler from asia or somethign that has cheap versions of everything,l but u can always find some ok cake making tools / kitchen utensils there

obviously not being in london i wouldnt know where u would find one, but it shouldnt be too hard :)

Hello !!!

the sad thing is that most of the tools you need are specific to the craft, so you have to buy from a dealer..

Its good fun tho ...

Lets face it there are few folks who do not like a nice slice of cake eh!!

My favourite cake, hmmmmmmm well:

black forrest gateaux very 70's but yummy.
bread and butter pudding made with brioche and fresh strwbs or rasps.
rumbabba's
pineapple upside down cake.
lemon flake cake
my own creation chocolate gnash cake with brandy and tripple chocolate.

I could go on for ever.......

lol thats a hard reply to try and read and follow lol

but i'll try

i am going ok, atm on mad strong meds cause after 20 years of being on this earth, the docs finally figured out that the reason i always breathe through my mouth is cause i cant breathe through my nose without consciously choosing too.

go figure ey? so i am on some anti biotics and nasal spray that burns out the inside of my nose into my skull to give me room to breathe in my nostrils? too much information??? lol sorry haha

speakign of which, i better remember to take it before bed, which for me was 2 hours ago tsk tsk

you're on the mend? wats up? did i miss something? are u ok?

lol my mum was an avid ebay-er and now shes pretty solid on the cards, and is actually really really good at it, like freakishly good, all her frens offer her lots n lots of money for her cards and stuff.

wow those all sounds yummy :D

i am a fan of good old chocolate [mud] cake and definately sticky date pudding yum yum yum yum yum lol

Woops not sure how I did that!! :emb:
Just as you should be winding down for bed as well. The nasal thing sounds awful, you poor thing. Can they not do something to sort you out!!!!

Would loev the link to your mums cards if she is trading still!

I had a major op 7 weeks ago it was 5 ops at the same time with 2 surgeons and a whole gang of folks watching. Girlie stuff is more than enough info here.

Anyway one wound had to be left open and it it taking ages to heal. I have a minor or soon and then fingers crossed all will vbe well yay!!!!

if she gets it up again and puts them online - dont think she will, i'll definately gee it up for u and get some links on a thread etc

yeh its now 1am here, way bad idea to be up now but the pain was worth the gain lol yeh its fair sh*te but its life i guess. i've had worse things happen.

wowee u dont do things half-assed do u! solid effort and i'll keep my fingers crossed for u!!! i know how u feel about open wounds, had a cyst that was larger than a golf ball and smaller than a tennis ball - imagine the size exactly between the two - taken out of the base of my spine. had an open wound into the cavity for about 4 months, and that was after the first op where the dodgy doctor left an open track from the surface of my lower back straight to my spine!!!!!!!!!!!!! eeesh

how did cakes turn into war stories? lol - i love random threads

take care and i'll post back tomorrow xox

Hope you had a good sleep Hun,

Ha ha, thats why I enjoy this site you never know where the conversations may take you, that wound of yours sounds nasty nasty, are you all better now?

I have silver and seaweed dressings that stop infection and promote better healing. I am assured that this way the long term outcome is much better. After the botch job the obs and gynae guy did anything is better than before.

Can you get breath right there, it may help you overnight its mainly for snooring but is fab when you get a cold too. May help you short term.

As for me I am back in one of the consultants offices on Tuesday and with luck i will get the date for op number 2.

Worst thing is not being able to do much of anything, not sure when I can get back to work. SSP is a bitch !!!!

Take care xx
