Hey everyone, just seeing if anyone can help us out!!!

Myself and my hubby to be are getting married around this time next year. We are both still fairly young (23) and have one young boy and another on the way (due around xmas time). As a result our budget is very limited - so we were thinking of a honeymoon in the British Isles.
Can anyone recommend anywhere? Ideally it would be somewhere with scenery as well as places of interest, not too worried about beaches or too good weather.

Off the top of my head I would say for you to Google Cornwall, the Lake District, Cotswolds, The Isle of Skye, Glencoe, Oban and see what you make of those for starters. If you are not keen on these wait for the others respond as most are native UKers.

Good luck

I would also second the Lake District - stunning scenery and lots of lovely, reasonably priced B&Bs..

There is a fab hotel in Royal Tunbridge wells along the spa valley railway, in a place called High Rocks scenery is stunning, there is a steam line that runs at the bottom of the grounds and high rocks are just fantastic as is the hotel.. Google it the rocks date back to iron age..

may be a little quiet for you.

Devon is nice, rent a nice cottage there and spend the week exploring the coastal towns and cycling, very relaxing and not too expensive
