I'm concerned that you guys have trouble not knowing what season you're in.... ;) The one between Summer and Winter is Autumn and the one between Winter and Summer is Spring. :)

My key reasons for disliking winter are...

- It is NO FUN to ride a motorbike when it's cold, wet and/or icy. Hence my commute to and from work is more difficult, more uncomfortable and more dangerous.

- I hate wearing layers - you go into a shop and you get too hot and you have to try to take them off and then put them on and you cant move. Scarves also make me feel like I'm being strangled.

- Can't sleep when it's cold :(

- SAD

I DO like my winter hat though.

- Don't ride your motorbike. Walk, take the bus... breathe in the winter air...

- Just have a warm jumper or cardi and a coat. Take off the coat if you need to in shops. Loosen your scarf a bit...

- Wear jimmys and a thick douvet to bed.

- Smile

:smug: ;)

I ride the motorbike because the price of public transport for one day pay for my mtorbike fuel for a week!

And Winter air stings my nose and throat :(

Yeah, it's crazy when you compare public transport to personal transport isn't it.

We recently took a family (me, wife + 2 kids) trip on the train instead of taking the car. The fuel in the car + parking would have cost us around £5-7 and taken 30 minutes. The train cost us £20 and the door to door journey took around 2 hours, this included some almost rediculous detours around stations to get buggies between platforms.

I really don't see any reason to use public transport in these situations.

It was a wee bit foggy when I had a wee lesson on the motorway yesterday. Not so bad I couldn't see though, thank goodness. What a nightmare that would've been!
It is bloody freezing these days though. But I do sometimes like it when you can cuddle up to a loved one and have a nice cup-a-coco
It's raining today though. That's a completely different story. We hate the rain!

Motorway lessons? Were you on the M4 around Bath yesterday? I drove from London up to Bath last night to pick up a tumble drier, very rock n roll.

I might have overtaken you
