I saw a programme quite a while ago about scientology on Panorama. Here's a bit from the programme http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l42UrHDx4lE

I think its the religion i don't agree with, i don't hate Tom Cruise but i've never been interested in him. But in my opinion after seeing that programme, Scientology seems to brainwash people.

Yeah, I saw that programme too. It was pretty interesting. Aren't all religions about brainwashing people though? Or rather, don't all religions brainwash people? I think some points of the religion are good to follow, like believing in yourself. But you can say that about other religions. Take a bit from each...


Watched the highlights from the Golden Globes this morning. I did not know that Christian Bale was English!! :o And Johnny looked as hot as ever... Mmmm.

He's actually Welsh. I think he must be playing an Englishman in an upcoming film because he keeps the accent until the film is finished being made. Huge method actor. If you watch interviews of him they all have a variety of accents haha.

Have a lot of love for Christian Bale. Shame he can be such an moron at times.

Ah. That's probably why I was a bit confused, cuz I'm sure I've heard him speak American in an interview before... and why at the globes he sounded like a "cock-a-nee"!

I watched the Golden Globes online and i didn't get to sleep until 4am! :laugh: Really don't like Ricky Gervais, he thinks he's funny but he isn't. Great seeing Johnny though! :depp:

Premiere's are usually a few days before the release. The release date for the UK might be the 20th. If so, the premiere might be 14th or 15th but i'm only guessing :)

I'm not a huge fan of Ricky Gervais but I actually thought he was quite funny. Everyone's saying how he crossed the line. If only America were familiar with comedians such as Frankie Boyle. Then they would see what crossing the line really is. I'd pay lots to see him presenting the Golden Globes.

It was nice to see Johnny Depp...Even if he was a bit on the orange side. Unless it was the saturation on my TV?

I think Ricky Gervais is hilarious! Very brave and unique.
If you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at? Someone in America must like/get him because they asked him back!
