Natalie:)
I know everyone's getting sick of these New Moon things.
But to clear up for those wishing to come down to London for a premiere this is no longer..well sort of.

Instead of the premiere, Summit are talking about a 'Fan event including some cast'. There are no ideas to what this will be. Yet it will be held on the 11th November.

Thanks Natalie. Here is a link with the info too. Hopefully we will get some details soon of this 'fan event'. Although still gutted there is no premiere.

Westminister have updated their events page, and they have added at the bottom that there will be no Premiere...which is so unfair, They haven't mentioned a fan event either =[

I am so angry with Summit, there not even advertising the movie here..it's as if they don't even care about then non-US fans

Well you have to ask why spend a few million on a premiere for a film which barely needs promoting?!

Plus there may have been safety fears etc.

It's not about whether they care or not about the fans. They know the fans will go see the film and that's what they want. Guess they see no need to fork out for another premiere when they know it'll sell.

Natalie:)
I think it's a shame, considering they OWE the fans this.
Hopefully the fan event will be good!

They dont owe anybody anything. Premieres are to drum up press support and advertising for the films.

The fans dont even get to go inside, they're outside whatever the weather getting squashed and going deaf from screaming.

Maybe saving the fans from that is a nice thing to do.

Is not like you don't get to see the film.

Firstly, Its E1 who are releasing it in the UK and the other guy is right, no need to fork out on more moey for a film that does not need any more PR. Obviously there are security concerns for Rob and Kristen as well which is understandable ( I feel very sorry for them ). The Fan Event on 11/11/09 is yet to be under negotiation about what it will be, so there will be something for all you Twi-Hard's.
