Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if any of you knew about whether there is going to be an Eclipse Premier in London in June 2010. I, like many others, am a very big twilight fan and would like to get tickets for this premiere. I'm well aware that I won't be seeing any of the celebrities however I would like to go to the premiere anyway. I've never been to a premiere before so I don't know how to get hold of tickets! Happy Thankyou x

That is realy quick! Can it be coming out already? New Moon is just out and I heard a rumour that Eclipse will be broken up in two movies. Do you think this is true.
I too am a fan and you will make my day if I don't need to wait another year to see the Eclipse. It was my favourite book between all four as well...so very excited!!!!'

Sorry I am not of help with Premiere info, as you see I am not in the know!

Hahaa! yes the release date is JUNE 30TH 2010 but i heard a rumour we aren't getting it until the start of July in the UK but I dont believe that because on the twilight facebook site it said Eclipse will be released in June 30TH 2010 because they filmed Eclipse back to back with New Moon.
I think they are making a normal showing for Eclipse and they're also editing it for 3D in IMAX theatres. :)
But I want to go to the premiere! Does anyone know where to get Premiere tickets? That would be a start! I don't have any idea where they sell Premiere tickets :P

Thanks :)

With questions regarding tickets etc, you might find the premiere FAQ helpful in the premieres section on here. Can't link you to it right now cause I'm on my iPhone not a computer.

Anyways you're gonna hav to be patient. Remember New Moon didn't even get a premiere so who knows whets planned for the next one, which is about 7 months away.

The short of if is that you will find it difficult and expensive to get tickets. They're not usually for sale but given to industry peep. Sometimes tickets are on sale through a charity. however if you get a ticket it does not mean you get to mingle with and meet the stars. Like it's said often by me and other premiere-goers here, the best thing to do is be part of the crowd. Get a front row spot and you may well meet Mr Pattinson

I agree with what krunchie wrote but after going on to many premieres, be a part of the crowd could a big pain in the ass sometimes :scared:
i mean when its a big premiere and a very <<teen>> premiere like the HSM or POTC you have to be there veeeeeeeeery early
At the harry potter premiere people camped outside the cinema which was soooooooo stupid anyway, and then is the horrible weather. You freeze to death and when the rain comes your autos soaked by the rain and not to mention the rediculous pushing.
at least when you have a ticket you dont have to wait from am to pm to see the stars and there is always a good chance of meeting them .
Oh and standing outside the cinema doesnt mean that you will talk to the stars. What makes it difficult is
a the stupid prs dragging them all the times like puppies to go there and there and there and not sign some autos
b the media and the endless interviews
and c the paps
they do some signing but not all of them get to meet them
at the Christmas carol premiere i waited since 8 am to see jim and all i got in the end was NOTHING not to mention the SNOBISH behaviour from mr zemekis.
sooo for me thats the biggest downside when you go to these premieres and
THE MEDIA THE PRS THE PAPS AND THE SEC GUYS MAKE IT AS DIFFICULT AS THEY CAN to meet your favourite actor

True :) unfortunately neuter way comes with guarantees. But you can bet any Twilight prem would be awful for pushing and stuff

Be patient you only asked yesterday! :P

As far as I'm aware there isn't a specific outlet that sells the tickets, i.e. no 'best place' to go. I think it depends on the film/distributor. Again you're just going to have to wait and find out. If tickets become available to sell then it will be known.
