well that's what we'd like to do. I guess we are a bit nuts though, it doesn't seem like it's gonna be too easy. With all the visa stuff and pet stuff and finding jobs and what not. The husband will probably try school over there he has to get his masters and PhD to be a college professor. I on the other hand am done with school but a work visa seems like it may be a little out of reach since I don't have a masters.

And my degree doesn't seem to be as valuable in the UK.
You're on pretty late I haven't noticed anyone being on so late recently. With the time diff though I'm always on at odd hours from everyone else.

Afternoon guys

I'm here too :)

Hi there hope all went well today hun xx

Hey Jacqs.

It went ok.

He admitted there were 'failings' by various people.
I spent most of my time explaining what happened in a&e & whilst i was on the ward.
Just as we started to talk about future pregnancies he stopped me & said can we do this another time. We had been talking for 40mins & others were waiting outside... we were in the epu.
He wants me to come back & see him for another chat & a coffee.

He didn't have my notes but he thinks thats due to the internal investigation thats already started. He said there was a big 'ho ha' about my case in the hospital at the moment. Someone has made a complaint against the a&e doctor, it wasn't me so not sure who's done that. I myself will be doing a complaint too.

So i shall be seeing him maybe next week, he's going to email me a time & date.

He didn't seem to think he had done anything wrong but seems to think the chain of problems so to speak started after he saw me.... where as i think differently.

I don't really have any answers as yet which is frustrating.

Hey Kiddo,

No surprise there, make notes of all they say to you! Follow the trusts complaint procedure to the letter. Attend appointments with someone to take notes. Also be prepared for it to take time but don't give up.. Its an all to familiar story I am afriad, if people like you do not make a stand then things will never change. Remember to take time out for yourself tho as you will need it to work thro such an emotional situation.

take care and let me know if I can help.

An hour before I arrived at the train station they were running about ten minutes late. Though when I got there they were being cancelled left right and centre and delayed for aaaaaages with announcements declaring various reasons like staff shortages, ice rails, broken down train, signal failure.,. I've now given up.

Crikey.

Turns out there was a fire on a train just outside my station, hence the delays and cancellations. Has affected trains all the way to Waterloo

Yeah think it was an electrical fire or something. Don't think a person started it. As far as I'm aware nobody's hurt.

I didn't go into work in the end. I got fed up waiting and glad I did. People got on a train but it stopped because of the fire and they were on it for over an hour going nowhere.
