Not exactly the pleasentest forum topic to start with - but I witnessed a really horrific accident outside holborn tube station yesterday afternoon where a driver crushed a woman bewteen his car and the railings.
I would love to know that the woman (and the driver too - he looked in a bad way) are all right - I wished I could have done more at the time.
Thankfully an ambulance was just around the corner - and I hope everyone was okay.
Sadly I understand the driver passed away at the scene. God bless him.

Like everyone here I would love to know the girl is okay -
I've been scouring the net to find some information on her - I went on twitter (which I've never used before) and there are rumours flying round,
none of which have been verified. The one news story on the accident have said the driver died of a heart attack which is tragic.
What I've done is emailed the police and asked if they can give me any information about if the girl is okay. I've pointed out that I am not interested in obtaining intimate medical details - just would love to hear she is alive, and that lots of poeple who witnessed the accident are concerned about her.
