Thanks Bazza. Someone gave me a link to another site with the same information, so it looks like it could be right. October is a longer wait than I was hoping, but at least there's a chance I could get there on that day. Fingers crossed.

Apparently, they're RELEASING the film on October 6th (you can pre-book tickets on the Empire Cinemas website), so I'd imagine that they'd now have the premiere a couple of days before, if not the day before on the 5th.

On the contrary, it's actually quite common for some films (not every film, obviously, but selected ones like this one), though they may just be advance screenings. So I would imagine them moving the premiere either the day before or on the Monday.
