My birthday is in March. I know its a long way away, but I like to get ahead of the game =)

All I know so far is that I'm having a joint party with my mate and he is.... three days older than me so time-wise, its pretty close =) And there will probably be around 150-200 people. Which is a lot I know but we're going to invite not only our mutual friends, but friends outside of school and family (which is probably why there's going to be about 200 =\ )

Anyhoo, I'm not the party planning type. In fact I'm not the planning type full stop...
So does anyone have any ideas? I was thinking themes, what themes, I do not know...
And venues. We live in west side of London ;)
Oh and a budget... ermm £400? I'm so bad at this stuff ='(

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated =)

Muchas Gracias

Two step programme that's fail proof.

1: buy lots of booze.

2: drink it.

The first flaw in your programme is that s/he is too young to do step 1...

Try and get a life webby...

point one... the odds of the birthday bash being on the date of birth is seven to one... so with odds of six to one in favour, he / she would actually be old enough to by booze.

point two... if he / she ain't old enough (despite the fact that said booze could be bought on the day of the party, covering the seventh day), the buddy pal is three days older, and would by that time be old enough.

please stop leading with your chin... it's embarrassing... and stop trying to be a kill joy as well... you come accross as an obnoxious student who knows everything about nothing... nobody knows everything in this life, cos the day you stop learning is the day you die.

His / her birthday is in March and s/he says she wants to get ahead of the game. This means s/he wants to get things done before his/her birthday. S/he will be seventeen before his / her birthday and therefore too young to buy booze.

The date of the 'birthday bash' possibly being on a different date to the birthday is an assumption that you have introduced that isn't warranted by any facts in the opening post. And your seven to one odds are incorrect since, theoretically, a birthday and corresponding party could be weeks apart. But as I said, there is nothing in the opening post to indicate any of this.

So while I don't want to belittle the effort you put in to assemble your programme, it is not 'fail proof' as you claimed it to be.

That was my only point of criticism, hope you didn't take it personally.

I'm sure the opening poster looks foward to your programme being extended to including advice on theme and venue.

Find a good DJ or feallow to make your party
Invite your friends and avoid people that may get drunk or explode and ruin your party
Choose the best place fore that with more space and away from neighbours (that may start winning)

first thing first. 200 guest for appx £400 = £2 per guest. are u sure about this. u cant get nought for 2 quids nowa days so u may have to rethink your budget. second do u want to hire a hall cos they are not cheap, (out goes the budget). if u can reconsider the budget you might like to try a very good event planner i have used recently and see what she can knock up for u. try her website at www.rsvp-inspired.com or call her on 07949 143 782 her name is rupa vekaria. good luck
