You're right in the heart of the West End there, you can take your pick of the best shows and restaurants - too many to suggest - have a look at the tickets area on this site and the restaurants pages.

Hi Derek,

There are loads of West End shows to see... it just depends what you like...

There is a tickets section on this site of all the latest shows and you can pre-book them. Alternatively, if you'd prefer to make your mind up on the day you can walk from Trafalgar Square up Charing Cross Road until you get to Leicester Square tube station. Just off the road on the left hand side here you'll see a big ticket office (usually with long queues outside) this is a good place to find tickets and they often have good deals on shows for last minute bookings.

As far as food goes, it's sometimes nice to just stroll around and see what you feel like on the day. there are so many restaurants in the area you won't struggle to find something. The neighbouring area of Covent Garden (5 mins walk) has some great restuarants and is a really nice area to walk around at anytime of day...

Have a great visit!
