Hi Daisy!

Hi AIL staff!

*silent treatment for QMB*

So, isn't the weather wierd today? I'm sitting in a double aspect office - it's grey and drizzly ouside one window, and bright blue sky out the other window!

Time for me tea break and a digestive.

Hi HappyQuerty

Tea break is an excellent idea.

The weather is a little crazy at the moment, it was pouring down with heavy rain half an hour ago whilst the sun was blazing through it - very strange.

:smug:

If you're reading this from your hotel QMB you've got a lot of work to do to win back the QMB fans.

Ok ok so he isn't quite 30
If i remember rightly i think he is a year older than me, i think :confused2:
So i think he must be celebrating his 28th birthday :confused2:

If you read this QMB i am jealous, i've always wanted to go to Rome. My uncle is a catholic priest & used to work at the vatican with pope john paul ll.... oh i miss him

Who wants a laugh....

A few years ago i was thinking who i'd like to be my sons godfather. Then i thought i know who better than pope john paul ll

It wasn't a joke i was being very serious.

So i wrote to him & asked him to be my sons godfather & that my uncle used to work for him blah blah blah

A little while later i got a lovely letter telling me that pope john paul ll was rather busy & had to decline my offer  & they sent me a little silver medal thingy from the vatican.

Well you can't blame a girl for trying can you :)

My best friend was taken to Rome in March as a surprise from his girlfriend too. How come no one surprises me with trips to Rome or somewhere nice for my birthday :confused2:

I have to make do with a take-away from the local chippie  & a homemade card from the kids.... which are always lovely though.

Hi Daisy,
How about the hailstones the other day, eh?

I was in Rome not too long ago. Lovely place. You do have to be careful of your belongings though - despite keeping my hand on top of my zipped bag in the metro - they managed to open the zip up about 3 inches from the side (so, about half an inch away from my hand), and swiped my purse from inside the bag! When they are that skilled, I kinda felt they deserved to get the 50 euros I had in there. Think it was a team effort - I was jostled by at least 2 people, and it was rush hour as well...

All I can say is, don't wait for others to take you - if you wanna go, just go! Perhaps the Friday4 prize fund will have accumulated enough (by the next time we actually HAVE one) to have the prize as tickets to Rome! *hint* :smug:

Tickets to rome would be lovely, however i would need 2 adult tickets & 4 childs tickets

Unless i could find a babysitter

I doubt i'll get to go to Rome at least for another 10 years, as i have 4 kids under 6.

I think the next friday four prize needs to be a biggie as they've hardly done any friday fours this year.

I would like a pink PSP, pink mobile, pink tv.... even pink socks will do..... i just love pink
