I think I found the statue by googling 'george dragon statue london'
It still takes a bit of research to find the location, though.

many thanks beedle - found it now too using your search criteria! - i tried plenty of searches including "london statue of george vs dragon" but couldnt find it at all!

For the general area that the landmark is in, think "law"... there are a few different tube stations in the area, but that's a rough guide.
