Just watched / wizzed through the film to try and find some stills to put up but there isn't much in there for ' whats under oxford street ' than can be either classed as a film set or not.

The film it's self is quite good as a documentary but some of the musical interludes does spoil it.

Hi just been reading the Ghosts of Oxford Street Forum. I am another big fan of this film. I recorded it when it was on C4 that Christmas many years ago. Since then I have moved several times and lost this video. I would love a copy of this film again. I hear you have a copy. Would it be possible to buy a copy from yourself. It would end years of searching and you would help me prove to my girlfriend this film really did exist. PLEASE........

It's a history of oxford street spanning around 200 years, narrated by Malcolm McLaren with intermittent musical interludes performed by people like, Happy Mondays, Pogues, Sinead O'Conner, Tom Jones.

It's a dramatised documentary.

Ok, new on here and i know this thread is a year old, but i have an answer to this question.

I became interested in this film due to the fact that myth or not.....some of this was filmed under oxford street which is the original Victorian oxford street with cobbled streets and shops.

I would love to find out if this is true or not, maybe Robert Elms knows from Radio London.

Anyway, i have the film, recoded and stuck on dvd-r, if you want it i can send you a copy.
