Money would really help.
So i could buy a nice BIG house away from here.

*dreams of a big house with big garden, with big kitchen so i could have a double cooker so i can bake, bake & bake some more*

My lemon cake is just the BEST & my mince pies are lovely too.
I could cook all day long.

I never buy that 'money doesn't make you happy' stuff.

I'm prepared to give it a try. I'm sure I'd be much happier not worrying about if I will have enough money left to see me through to the next pay day, or to worry about how expensive council tax is, or christmas, or car MOT or service and tax, or petrol, or travel by any other means, private health care, dental care, eye care, doing that course I always wanted to do to get my dream job but coudln't afford to take time of my poo job for... the list continues. Maybe I'd be happier being able to afford a bigger flat with room to breath. Maybe I'd be pretty damn happy being financially secure for the rest of my life, not 'comfortabe', I mean 'secure'.

To be honest, I think money does buy a lot of happiness, try growing up poor and saying otherwise.

Could help more than no money, though. Could get you treatment quicker in a private hospital, than waiting for months with the NHS and less risk of catching some superbug. Can't afford it myself, yet though, so I hope I don't ever need life-saving treatment on the NHS.

Luckily i've never had to wait ages for any kind of op but have heard of people waiting for ages for an op on the NHS.

I do have to say that the NHS are fab though from my personal experience.
I nearly died & so did my 2nd daughter when i hemorrhaged whilst in labour.
I needed 11 units of blood & was really ill for a week in HDU.

My son when he was 6wks old became very ill. So many doctors & nurses fought hard to save his life for which i am so grateful. They were running round him doing all sorts. He was so close to dying.

For me the NHS are brilliant, maybe not with booked ops but otherwise i think they are great.

Money can help so much in making someone happy.
You could choose where to live instead of living in a rubbish area.
You can choose to send your kids to better schools instead of the local dump.
You can afford holidays.
Wouldn't have to worry about paying the bills or worry about how you'll feed your kids.

A million quid doesn't go very far these days! If you earn the average UK salary (£22k) over your lifetime (age 18-65) you'll earn over a million quid in today's money.

Need to set your sights higher if you want to live a life of luxury!

yeh but u pay tax on that salary.

A lot of people i know who live & work in London don't earn 22k.
A lot earn between 10k - 16k.

A million would be enough for me to buy a nice big house out of London away from the brats that live down my street & cause me hassle & stress me out for 8 months of the year.
As soon as its not freezing out they play outside my house, screaming & shouting til 10pm (in the summer time) keeping my kids awake :veryangry: :bangin: :veryangry:

I'd give anything to move from this sh** hole & a million would be enough to sort me out.

Quite right said!

I've got one of the most demanding jobs but I earn even less then 15k, plus I am a single mum, plus I still rent a flat.... A million would help me a lot. Just to enroll my daughter to all those classes that she wants to attend and I feel horrible every time when I have to say to her, "We can't afford it darling." :(
