Hey!

Were in London do you want to live? I went to London for a couple a weeks ago and I found a flatshare that was really good. My roommates were good and the apartment was good. Is this your first time in London? I got my flatshare threw studios-london, they work as a reservation company so i just told them my budget and how long a wanted to stay in London, were i wanted to live and that i wanted a flatshare. So since they have a lot of partners it was much easier for them to find my flatshare, because they know were to look.

thanks for the advice lucy!! i´ll take a look at that site!! i´m going to be working in picidlly so hopefully i´ll find somewhere in central or north london. i only visited london for the first time for my job interview, so moving there is going to be a big change!!

How do you have the money to live in LA Ellie, if you don't mind me asking? How long you staying there for? Apparently the acting style/technique, particularly for camera is very different over there.

well i have a plan of sorts in progress right now im in a pretty good job working on Park Lane so i am gonna do 2 or 3 more months to save im gonna go over on a holiday of sorts do some training to see if i like the way things work like short courses and stuff while trying to work the place out like agents and how you get jobs etc just generally meet people network (party) for the first month,
i beleive i have 3 months before i have to ge out the country and hoefully by that time i will have someone who will employ me and can apply for a temp working visa.

I know a few people out there so gonna get advice from them.

so what ya think of my plan? if you got any more advice i would love to hear as i am basically just getting up and going and will have 90 days to change my life! hey i could make it into a reality show itself lol mabe i can make a video diary of my 90 days to stardome!!

Sounds like a good plan Ellie. I suppose your backup though would just be to come home? Have you heard of this website; www.heyhollywoodherei.com ? It's basically a chance to audition in front of casting agents and the like in LA. But you have to audition in London first and it costs a LOT of money! You also have to take a parent or gaurdian with you, no matter how old you are :-? But if you have the money and can get through the first audition, I think it'll be worth it.

Ellie, if you have the money, then I say why the hell not? You wanna make it as an actor, LA is the place to be, so go for it! Just stay safe and please don't do anything you don't want to do! You may not make the right decisions, but just be sure you are doing what YOU want to do!

Yeah back up plan just come home lol but im hoping i wont have to.
i will check out that site definately.

You know there is nothing else in the world i want to do other than act and ive known that from the moment i could think for myself or younger.

If i dont make it in Hollywood then i wont make it at all but im never gonna give up even if i just get by and scrape a living on acting thats what i want!

Mm, same here. But I don't want to just 'act'. I want to inspire people/move peope/influence people. As dramatic as it may sound, I want to change the world as best I can. Not sure how to do that as of yet, but I still have a LOT to learn. I need to find myself, find what I want and how I want to go about doing it. I am NOT he kind of actor who will just do ANYTHING, because it is NOT about the fame for me in the slightest!

i totally agreee!

I want to make people feel the way i feel when i watch a great film or mabe not even a great film just a fantastic performance, i think its crazy the emotions that can come from a film even if it just touches one person thats what matters to me.

I watched shawshank redemtion the other day and it was awesome some of the performances are stunning!

i cry at films that arnt even sad or suppose to make you cry just because of the acting!

I use to live in LA and if you are looking for places to live or rent you should use www.craigslist.com click on Los Angeles and you kind find rooms for rent or apartments for rent.
