How far ahead do you have to plan a trip on the eye? Can you just turn up and get on, or do you have to book a few days in advance?

I went on when it was rainy and couldn't see anything!
Went i few years ago and just turned up and bought tickets there on the day.

I'm terrified of heights which is a shame as I'd love to see the views! Lisa x

i've never really wanted to go on it anyways, i think its one of those things that i'd do if i was bored but seeing it up close is enough for me.

I went on shortly after it opened and wasn't sure what to expect. Have to admit, was really impressed. We did have the weather on our side on the day and I'm sure that makes a difference.

My only advice is to do the London Eye first thing in the morning, we went later on in the day and saw most of the attractions I'd spent hours walking to by foot!
