The stupid government doesn't even know how many people come into our country!! and we have to pay for them too!

I like the pound too! i think its a shame that most countries in Europe have the euro. I've still got French and Spanish money :)

and also i hate being part of europe, i'm sick of eastern europeans coming into this country just to rip everyone off!

umm... bit un-called for and ignorant, wouldn't you say?

The government are the ones ripping us off, not people from another country. I'd like to think I coul emigrate to another country without this kind of prejudice.

Sure there are people who abuse 'the system' but they are a mixed bunch of British and immigrants. To suggest Eastern Europenas come here 'to rip everyone off' is ill-informed and unfair. Most who come here from other countries work hard and earn a living, and send money back to their families. A lot of them do the jobs that most British folk turn their nose up at (cleaners, for example). maybe there wouldn't be so many people coming over 'taking the jobs' If the unemployed, benefit-lovers of Britain got off their a*ses (I'm not saying all those who are unemployed are lazy scroungers, but those who are are the ones who should be doing something).

Back on topic anyway, I think the pound should stay. I don't like that the Euro was brought in anyway. Can't say I'm an economy expert, but it adds something to the country when they have their own individual currency.

you're right, it is the government but alot of eastern europeans do come over here for the money, but i guess its not just them. I just hate credit card fraud i guess you could say. So i guess it's the government who let these people get away with it.

i do apologise ;)

come on folks - seriously - we always no its the governments fault in one way or another.

problem is no matter how hard they try, no one will ever think that they are getting it right

and evven if they do get an almost perfect government in who make the country a better place - bet u a million pound there'll always be people picking fault with them.

unfortunate fact of politics

Is true, but the less people who are onconvenienced the better. At the moment it seems more and more people are getting unhappy. To be honest, I'm getting fed up with this credit crunch business. Will someone just give me a damn loan??!! :D
