Just a rant about todays snow.
Why is it people feel the need to complain about public services?
"Oh the grit didnt stick on my road"
"I couldnt get into work"
"My train was late"
"Other countries can cope"
We had 8 inches of snow in under a day! Everyone out there working did all they could to beat it but it was just too much, enjoy the day off and chill out! Stop trying to blame someone for a once in a quarter century event! S**t happens!

We had 8 inches of snow in under a day! Everyone out there working did all they could to beat it but it was just too much, enjoy the day off and chill out! Stop trying to blame someone for a once in a quarter century event! S**t happens!
We had a great time with it all, sunday evening all the locals were out pushing cars up the hills and digging out those who got stuck. Monday we could not even open our doors, so each took it in turn to climb out the ground floor and start digging. Soon all the doorways were free. No way we were getting anywhere so we all had fun in the 2ft of snow.
Tuesday schools closed, those who work walked.... 5 miles in 2,5 hours each way. Some of us are still walking to main roads to get a bus as we are still snowed in on the side roads. We have had an old fashioned war time spirit folks talking to each other kids having good old fun.
Its time we got out of the I can't do and just got on with it.....
we did and are all the better for doing so..
