Yossarian are a four piece band from Cardiff, Wales. They have a spacious sound with intricate and overlapping layers of guitars and melodic, heartfelt vocals. Influences include My Morning Jacket, Mogwai, Interpol, Bloc Party and Radiohead to name a few. With pounding catchy beats, prominent bass lines, strong, lyrical vocals and progressive guitar lines the band display an impressive musicianship on stage and on record.

'It's melodic, intense stuff this - a loud brash act from the valleys - well decent'. - 'Neon'/Hope and Anchor.
Mixing elements of punk, hardcore, post-hardcore, metal, electronica and rock, this popular band from the south Wales valleys are a formation of several previously notable bands ('Disparage','Mendes') bringing with them a surprisingly diverse and steadfast following. Since forming as 'The Alternative Ending' in March 2005 they have already achieved a wide public notoriety after gigging extensively and gained immediate interest from industry eager to see how the new mix would turn out. Within a few months of forming, London's 'Neon' promotions offered to arrange an A&R gig. Their debut EP 'The Directors cut' recorded at Notting Pill studios by Jeff and Ginge of Skindred fame was released on 24 June and has sold 300 copies.
