Hi guys, I'm planning on going to a comedy club for my 21st. The Comedy Store seems to have the best reputation but Jongleurs in Camden has a 'disco' after the comedy, so i could save money on entry fees by going there (it's very important that some clubbing is involved somewere! Wink) However, does anyone knowwhat kind of music is played during the 'disco'?

Thanx

Hi CurlyGirly,

Welcome to The Knowledge.

I believe the music after the comedy show's is commercial dance with cheesy 70s and 80s classics thrown in the later the evening goes on!

Not everyone's cup of tea but if you drink enough you'll no doubt enjoy it whatever the music is.

Hope that helps,

oh dear, im open-minded about music but when it comes to clubbing the music has to be just right. Might just search for some cheaper comedy clubs now. thanx Happy

Hi CurlyGirly,

There's a list of comedy clubs on this site here: with descriptions:

(I'm guessing you've seen those already though.)

There's also a list of them here with some useful descriptions:

Have a good night!

Hi!!

I've been to the Comedy Club in Camden and it's pretty good and yes they do clear the tables out in favour of audio cheese. Recently i went to the Comedy Club in Leceister Square which seemed better, also when it ends you are in the centre of London and so can pick where you want to go.
Love and happiness

Hello Curlygirly

Hope your 21st hasn't been and gone because we've got great comedy nights here:

http://www.comedycafe.co.uk

It's a restaurant too, and when the comedy's over there's a club upstairs called Bedroom Bar, where there's funky house DJ's, saxaphone jamming, and beds. Here's a Time Out review:

Hope its helpful
