I know its only July but if you knew the dire places we have had to endure the last few years....

We are a charity based in Hertfordshire, looking to go somewhere trendy for dinner and a dance. London has to be the place? We would like somewhere lively with a good vibe for a mostly young group of upto 30 colleagues aged between 21 and 51. Preferably the venue should be a good size that accomodates for those of us that like dancing and those of us that like sitting and chatting etc. Please give me your suggestions,
Thanks

Hi there,

I'd recommend any of the Late Night London bars for your party. LNL's bars include Oxygen, Sway, Boardwalk, Context, On Anon etc, many of them are based in the West End. We've got all of their bars featured in the clubs and bars section.

They're generally very good if you're booking for a group, you should be able to get some special offers out of them.

Hope that helps,

Check out EQ Bar in Islington, very helpful. No Hire Charge. Bar & Lounge with DJs at the weekend. Great Happy Hour 5-8 and a large Cocktail List served by professional staff. Good Luck

How about Upper street or Holloway Road for a change.... There's plenty beneath the streets above... check it out.. Quickly get on the A1 and on your way. More later if you want it.

I do now of something you can do that will be fun, and different at christmas parties, or christmas team building events, please read below and see what you think!

Kat's hats is a spin of from Katherine Elizabeth, and its brilliant fun!!

Ladies/girls arrange for around 4 to fifteen of there friends to get together at there home or work, and I teach them how to make fascinators/headpieces in a relaxed atmosphere, this way they can all drink wine and chat just like an Ann summers party without the rude bits.

Vintage hand bags can also be ordered from my small range, this is so clients can have a bag to match.
The bags are created by Katherine Elizabeth at a later date, orders can take up to 6 weeks to complete, deposits are required on the night.

Its been a brill success so far, please have a look at the women's Fulham WI website, I did a class with them and they have written about it + photos.

Cost for adults is about £15/25per person, this includes all materials and excellent tuition.
Everyone can take there fascinators home and wear them at the races or parties, its a brilliant and cost affective way of having your own fascinator tailored to your outfit.

Perfect for classy hen parties, Parties, events, or team building at work.

How about a Cocktail Making Event?

There's a company called Liquid Circle Events who do special themed Christmas cocktail making classes in December, ideal for a work Xmas party. You can learn how to make a Christmas Pudding Martini, a Winter Berry Bramble, the Manhattan and many more!

They run them in bars and venues across London so you just let them know what location they offer suits you best and they are fully mobile so will come in, set it up and run it for you. Costs about £40 a head.
