...are all these questions people are posting on individual shops showing up here? And the sudden influx, too. I don't get why the questions are being directed at the shops, given they probably won't get a response? There's something wrong with this system. In most of these cases, these people will do better to contact the shop directly.

They used to be only shown in the Q&A forum but are now showing up here. The idea of them is to allow people to ask questions about shops, restaurants, bars, events etc listed on AIL. The vast majority of them do seem to think they're asking the owners directly so I agree the system needs looking at.

You probably noticed I keep moving them to London Noticeboard. I think they'd suit better going there than general chat. If you want me to stop, tell me. Otherwise might be easier to have them go there automatically?
