I had a bet with a friend of mine. If she had lost, she would have had to ask 20 of her male friends (including me) to rub a custard pie in her face to raise £100 for the Poppy Appeal, a cause we both believe in. I thought this was an excellent idea - I was happy to pay £100 to see her get pied!
