Hi Everyone...

I have just got back from the Chinese New Year celebrations in the West end...

It has got bigger every year with more effort made to make this a good event...

This year however has annoyed me, there was a consistent theme of overcharging on everything...

I was just charged £10 for 6 cakes at the Kowloon restaurant...

I have been buying cakes here for a number of years and this purchase would have normally cost just under a fiver...

So why did I pay for the cakes, well when you have been queing up and you have a number of people behind you it can happen...

The fact is however that I will never spend any money in the Kowloon restaurant again...

Sounds a bit steep. Can't really blame them for wanting to make a bit extra out of all the extra passing trade - supply and demand and all that... :)

Didn't make it to Chinatown this year, saw it on London tonight though and it looked great.
