Birthday Party Venues

Does anyone know of a good place in central London where I could go with about 20 people for birthday drinks. I basically want to go to a bar/lounge. But one place I looked at wants me to pay £10/head to book the place!!! As my birthdays in December I want to get in there early, but I don't want to pay a hefty booking charge!!

Well for central London it is bound to be quite steep to put in a booking, however there are a few hidden gems. Do you have a budget per head or were you simply looking for a free booking? Off the top of my head I could recomment Thirst in Greek Street, Soho have a look at the page below.

Why not try out Arizona Bar & Grill in Camden Town. The Mexican Bar & Grill is in the perfect location just off the high street in Camden (and across the road from MTV Studios, Camden). Allowing you to be at the heart of London but not in the centre. Plus you will be escaping the usual Soho hangouts giving you the advantage of a much lower bill and the owners of the venue are more than willing to accomodate any additional requirements you may have.
Booking of the venue is free but you may need to pay a refundable £50-£100 deposit. Arizona does have a late license giving you the opportunity to fill the venue with your friends (200 people) for dinner and dancing into the night with your own DJ, a free extra available on request. Not all your guests will need to dine at the Arizona, in fact you may choose to dine with family then party after with friends, the possibilities are limitless.

Try On Anon, 1 Pavillion, Picadilly Circus. If your all girls, then you won't have a problem getting in. Bars over 5 floors ( If I'm not mistaken) with different themes. You can even book your own private, roped off area. Give Sinory a call - she's one of those who takes the bookings - on 0207-287-8008. And there's no charge for entry if you get on their guest list nor any charge for booking the areas but call to make sure. Hope this helps you out.
