electric skateboarding in London?

I saw a comment posted last year from Luke who was loving commuting on his new electric skateboard to work.. Well, I founded Skate Electric (www.skateelectric.com) and have a brand new vid on you tube showing how getting around London on an electric skateboard is the way forward . I went from Notting Hill to Westminster in 23 minutes, faster than a car, a a bus and a tube!...... This has to be a part solution to reducing emission C02 transport, silent, cool and should be embraced to be used alongside electric bikes, push bikes in the ever increasing cycle lanes....

I've been an e-board fanactic for about 4 years. Gone though numerous boards & they've all failed despite suppliers claiming they had the best product. Problems with the batteries, electrics & even the motors. Now i'm using the Rok It Science Boom Borda 2 for my 8 mile commute to work & couldn't be happier. its light, nippy & can take a bit of punishment. if your a serious boarder & want a serious bit of kit get it from www.rokitscience.co.uk you won't be sorry, i'm not!

Don`t listen to bobby d, I'm sorry I bought a boom borda II from rokitscience.co.uk It's the worst skateboard I have ever had. It was broken from the day I got it & wouldn't do a mile from a charge so i sent it back & two weeks later it arrived with the same fault. I finally got the customer service people to admit they had a known problem with the batteries, so why the hell did they send it back if they new it wasn't fixed. It's been 7 weeks since I bought it & despite numerous phone calls & promises of new batteries it's still in it's box going nowhere. Their customer services are a joke & the moneyback guarantee they give on the website is worthless so I'm currently in the process of taking them to court to get my money back.

Wish I had bought an Electro Skate rather than this peace of dung

9 Years ago I designed an Electric Skateboard that goes 25 miles an hour, Posi-traction, front disk brakes, Twin 24 volt Battery packs, Hella fog light/24volt Halogen bulb for night riding, 1,500 WATTS which is 2 horsepower. Curtis 1204 Speed Controler, Randall Type II Luge Trucks. recharge rate 2 hours. I named it Andelay, after that fast mouse.
