Wont really affect me being a SE Londoner! But I do wonder how Boris is going to keep up funding when he is cutting out revenue streams?

It's hard to tell what the effect will be - when the extension came in loads of bankers living in the extension zone were able to drive to work with a 90% discount off the congestion charge.

Where does the money go that they raise from the congestion charge?

I thought most bus companies were private companies?

I live close to it but not close enough for a discount.

It might sound silly but we use the car to drive my son to hospital when his wheezing is bad.... but not bad enough to call an ambulance.
Although we have had to call an ambulance before we prefer not to unless its really bad.
Could get a bus but there is no direct bus & walking can make his wheezing worse.

Obviously my sons health comes first over an £8 congestion charge BUT the hospital is just inside the extension which is so annoying.

I for one won't be sad to see it go
