Hi to all, I have lived in London for one year thus far and I'm on the move again. This time to Oakfield Road, which has a N4 postcode and is situated right next to Finsbury Park and just comes under the Haringey borough district.

But something is bothering me, is where I am going to live considered inner or outer London? Does it go by postcodes or boroughs or just location in general?

My nearest tubes are Finsbury Park and Manor House both in zone 2 respectivly. surely this is inner London?

I'm at the furthest point south of the Haringey borough just missing out on Islington and Hackney borders, dose this mean that certain areas of Haringey are Inner and others are outer?

Inner or outer? What difference does it make?

Just a general pondering.

I reckon that location is borderline, I'd probably say it's outer London though.

technically Haringey counts as inner London - according to the list of official boroughs.
